UN Security Council passes US-drafted resolution endorsing Trump’s peace plan for Gaza

The UN Security Council has voted in favour of US President Donald Trump’s peace plan for Gaza, which includes deployment of international troops. The vote on Monday pushed forward Washington’s 20-point framework, which lays out the first comprehensive international roadmap for ceasefire enforcement, reconstruction and governance in Gaza.
