Myanmar Earthquake News – Myanmar Earthquake News: Earthquake in Myanmar tremors felt in Delhi NCR Bangkok

Two back-to-back earthquakes of magnitudes 7.7 and 6.4 struck Myanmar on Friday, with strong tremors felt in Thailand’s capital, Bangkok. The iconic Ava Bridge in Myanmar’s Mandalay reportedly collapsed into the Irrawaddy River and several buildings collapsed due to the massive quakes, whose epicentre was near Sagaing.

Such was the impact of the earthquakes that tremors rocked Bangkok, around 900 km away, forcing people to run out of their homes.

However, there were no immediate reports of damage or casualties in the Thai capital.
