Amid India-Pak tensions, China advises citizens to exercise caution while travelling to either country

As the tensions between India and Pakistan continue to escalate, neighbouring country China has issued an advisory for its citizens.

According to the Global Times, the Chinese Embassies in both countries issued statements on their official WeChat accounts – a Chinese social media platform – on Friday afternoon.

The statement advised Chinese citizens to closely monitor the situation and exercise caution when travelling to India or Pakistan. The advisory also reminded those already in India or Pakistan to strengthen security precautions and enhance safety measures.
