US shooting: Multiple officers shot in Virginia’s Pittsylvania County

Reports of an officer-involved shooting in Gretna, Pittsylvania County, emerged Wednesday, with local scanner traffic indicating multiple officers may have been wounded.

A heavy police presence has been reported on Hampstead Drive, along with several helicopters responding to the scene. Local traffic alert pages also suggest multiple officers have been shot.
